Seth E. Fawns

Seth Fawns focuses his legal career on a variety of civil liability defense matters. He began his career defending physicians and hospitals in Eastern Kentucky. His defense experience expanded into premise liability, personal auto, commercial vehicle accidents/transportation, negligent construction, logging, and other businesses across the Commonwealth. He subsequently worked for the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet providing legal counsel to the Kentucky Parole Board and litigating cases filed against various agencies including due process, 8th Amendment, and whistleblower claims.

Seth has litigated cases from Paducah to Pikeville and practiced before the Kentucky Court of Appeals and Kentucky Supreme Court. He has also practiced in the Federal District Courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. Seth has previously served on the KBA Young Lawyer’s Division’s Executive Committee and chaired various subcommittees. He has also served as a KBA delegate to the American Bar Association.

Seth enjoys fishing and spending time taking care of his many trees and plants.
