Jeanmarie Calcagno handles workers’ compensation cases in Kopka Pinkus Dolin’s Chicago office. She represents employers from many different aspects of the business arena including small business, middle market, corporate, and construction clients.

Before joining KPD, Jeanmarie worked for a large Illinois firm and handled cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, circuit courts, and appellate courts.

Her strong business background and insight comes from her experience as an Assistant Vice President/Claims Manager and Workers’ Compensation Regional Product Supervisor for Zurich North America. As a claims manager, she used her target market knowledge to identify how the organization could best service its customers’ claim service needs. She was also recognized as both a technical consultant and advisor inside and outside the company where she provided technical guidance within field offices. In addition, Jeanmarie also developed, prepared, and implemented the claims litigation management strategy during her time at Zurich.

Jeanmarie began her legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney representing Cook County in its workers’ compensation cases. She was awarded a Juris Doctorate from the Chicago Kent College of Law, a Master of Business Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University.
