
Jason-Ray Swaby is a litigation attorney in Kopka Pinkus Dolin’s Chicago office, licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. He brings a strong foundation in complex transactions, regulatory analysis, and corporate governance to the litigation setting, allowing for a strategic and comprehensive approach to client advocacy.
Before joining Kopka Pinkus Dolin, Jason was an associate at an Am Law 200 firm, where he advised public and private companies on transactional and regulatory matters. He also gained judicial experience as a judicial intern to Justice Ann Walsh Bradley at the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In addition, Jason served as a legal intern at the World Bank, where he analyzed international trade, privacy regulations, and treaty frameworks.
Jason earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he held multiple leadership roles, served on the Moot Court Board, and competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Prior to law school, he worked in legal marketing at national law firms, developing a practical understanding of law firm operations and client service.
